In 1962-1968 we used soggy straws from kindergarten through the 4th grade, and the planet just got worse anyway. In fact because of it, I had to repeat the 3rd grade.
I couldn't help but think of this one, which is funny too. Thank you.I'm going to be posting telepathically today.. so if you think of anything funny, you're welcome.

Back to the days of more polite people. And when game show contestants didn't do TikTok poses and dances every time a camera pointed at them. It is really interesting comparing the contestants on the old shows to the new ones. They tended to speak rather than yell. The reactions back then were genuine excitement; not "Here's my excited dance!". I've noticed that a lot of people have a persona, not a personality now. I wonder why people would want friends that are only showing them a carefully crafted persona rather than anything genuine.Back to the days of the mini skirt and the Mini car!
I know some of it is likely that the shows carefully pick a specific type more now, so they end up with louder people. But much like many of the people I encounter in restaurants and stores, the modern ones like to nearly yell everything while the ones back then just spoke normally most of the time. None of them were thinking "now is my moment to get everyone to see me, do that dance, do that look..." when they looked into the camera.
I saw a clip from a TV show where a couple modern kids travel back to the 80s and at a party one decides to use her dance skills to distract everyone. She does her TikTok moves and everyone just stares at her with a puzzled look. Then someone comments "That is weird! She isn't moving her feet. It's all arm movements. What kind of dancing is that?"

I spent most of last night pondering where the sun had gone, and then it dawned on me.
An old friend of mine thought she was too old to start dating again.
I introduced her to another friend, an archeologist.
It seems to be going great.
The older she gets, the more interested he becomes.
