It’s how you sell the things that used to go to the recycle bin. Probably costs more than the properly made items and leaves the manufacturer ******* themselves all the way to the bank.
Ed, it was of course a story. If my father was still with us he would have turned 95 on Dec 7. He was age 14 on Pearl harbour day. He never did malls and to this day I learn from his wisdom. If only I could remember all of what he offered.
I am so glad my kids got to spend some time with my grandmother and let her tell them stories about when she grew up.
Like how she grew up in a small farming town.
She told them that if you happened to have an old busted horse, you should leave it be the train tracks because the railroad would have to pay you for it if it got hit.
She hopefully passed on better things too.

Don’t know about your family, oldest of mine made it to 106. Youngest death for my older generation was mid 80’s.
Your tale seemed reasonable seeing that you have a sense of humor.
Hope you hang around till at least 95!

But I'd love to have one of this kind:An uneven bottom is fashionable:
Once, I saw in my dream that I will die at 108 and thought it was good to relax my schedule. But later, a lady with back pain told me that she could now understand her mother telling her that after 50 the years count double. We are actually 52 at 51, 54 at 52 etc... Now with the new system I'll be 108 at 79. That's quite a deviance... It ruins my plans. You see, I was born to save the world, but the problem with me is that whatever I have to do I leave it for the last moment...
I think he meant to say moot but it can't possibly be as that's what I have around my castle. No doot aboot it.
No doot aboot it.
I read that is a phrase used when mocking Canadians! https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=no doot aboot it
And the funny thing is it’s wrong. We say about as abowt. What we do that is wrong is the word route. We say root. Even though we we call that computer thing a ‘rowter’ we refuse to pronounce route properly.

Here, 'route' (as in a course taken in getting from a starting point to a destination) is pronounced 'root'.
Nowt funny aboot that!
“Root” when it’s used as a noun, “Rowt” when used as a verb.
Damn computer just tried to correct “verb” to ”Vceo”. Caught it in time before hitting ’post’.

So do we. I think that's standard English. We say root. Even though we we call that computer thing a ‘rowter’ we refuse to pronounce route properly.
On the other hand we pronounce the word rout (military defeat) as rowt, but that doesn't get used often.
