This is a good time of year. Now that the rain has arrived and they can get upstream, some of our finned friends are making more finned friends. As you might know they continue to give after they spawn and die as they are a great food source and also fertilizer. These are Chums. The Coho are coming soon. This is the Coquitlam river about 6km's up from the mighty Fraser river and a total of 40 or so km's from the Salish Sea. (Pacific Ocean)

I was slightly taken aback by the "London Drugs" sign in the background of the 4th photo until I found out it was a Canadian retail pharmacy chain!
A chemist... Yes the word drugs has a negative connotation in its primary use here, although it can be used the other more general way.
It's one of those stores that has become a go-to place for 'everything' Yes, you can get your prescription filled there but...

London Drugs we’re a fairly big audio and photo retailer if I remember correctly. Like a small Best Buy. Strictly west coast as well I think.
London Drugs does electronics of all sorts including computers and cameras. They do cosmetics, small appliances, general household stuff including packaged food, goofy one of a kind items, greeting cards and even some drugs don't cha know?
