Well, look at it this way: she might be taking a nap during the date.Has the smartphone completely taken over our lives?
Its use in company can be so rude...
Are cheep fig rolls the best thing in the world ?
A fig roll dunked in instant black coffee is bliss.
If they were music they'd be early RUSH, if they were a driver they'd be a Dayton Audio CE65W-8-2 1/2 ( I have very little experience of drivers ) If they were a book, they'd be the dragon bone chair. I find it difficult to chose my favourite film.

Our local biscuit manufacturer has long had a version of Fig Newtons called the Spicy Fruit Roll, because no one here knew what a fig was. These are based on grapes and citrus peel.

Does anyone give a flying fig? 😀

Oh the grammar stuff. I must admit to being a grammar nazi. I can't help it. I had grammar beaten into me by ruler wielding nuns. It was absolutely paramount that we learned impeccable grammar, spelling, and punctuation; otherwise you look like a damn idiot.
Fast forward 50 years and grammar doesn't seem to count for much. Times sure have changed. I remember seeing young folks with tattoos and bizarre piercings (or whatever it is when you stick a log of wood up your nose) and thinking "Do they go on a job interview like that?" Well the last couple job interviews I had were conducted by people that looked like that and they were wearing jeans to boot. I wear a suit and tie, the boss wears jeans and a T shirt. I have no tattoos, no piercings; I can't stand them on other people.
I must seem odd by today's standards.

As seen on Fig. 1.Our local biscuit manufacturer has long had a version of Fig Newtons called the Spicy Fruit Roll, because no one here knew what a fig was. These are based on grapes and citrus peel.

Around here, overloaded cinnamon is somewhat popular with kids. 🔥 🥵Our local biscuit manufacturer has long had a version of Fig Newtons called the Spicy Fruit Roll, because no one here knew what a fig was.
I also judge people by if they know how to hold a pen.
I'm a Dynamic Tripod - judge me! 😀
