BlieSMa have anounced new 3" dome midranges:
@hificompass are you planning on doing a comparison feature like you did with the T25 tweeter ? Would be great if you could.
Any hints on price ranges yet ?
Looking forward to the M75B-6 and M75P-6.. the P looks to very linear with tight dispersion 700Hz-3KHz

What? No M74D? 🙂
The M74A and S look very appealing to me. I wonder what the chance is that they will be available before the end of this year. I wonder if there's any chance I'll be able to afford them (I'm assuming the M74B will be out of the question).
Stanislov mentioned that evaluation of production units could happen in late Q4-21 which is were we are now 🙂The M74A and S look very appealing to me. As far as I see it M74B and M74S looks crazy good. Hope that distortion will be on par with parameters.

Good news. Cant wait for the comparison of the 4 versions by hificompass ! Pretty expensive but a project with 8 or 10 inch purifi + bliesma dome + bliesma t25 should stretch the limits.

Fortunately, there is no D version. This fact keeps me from selling a kidney🙂
I was told that the new midranges will go on sale only next year. Don't know the exact date.

It would be a true killer project!🙂

Yes, of course, I plan do the review just in the same format. It would be great to get the speakers and finish the review before the end of the year.
No any price information yet...
Don't forget Wavecor, the performance is very good and close to Purify. Both company's use a copper pole piece to improve the force factor linearity.
Yevgeniy how do you like the Puriwave?
I've finished my Purifi 2 way and very satisfied with it. I'm moving onto Purifi 3 way with the new 8" woofer. Cabinets are being made... I'll probably go twin 8" woofers and active. Passive is also a possibility, but will need larger cabinets of course. I'm not sure whether it will be Bliesma or Purifi...
Jon Marsh over at HTGuide is building a passive 3 way with Bliesma tweeters, Purifi 6.5" midrange and twin 12" Dayton RSS subwoofers; it's a back breaking, no holds barred assault on the state of art...

Who is making the cabinets for Your Purifi 3 way project ? Sounds like it will be a killer setup

all in all, the SB Md60n is not that bad! ;-)
Md60n just needs a regular chamber instead of the resonant tube and it would be a great driver in my eyes. It's just not revolutionary, it doesn't appear to provide much more than you get from a 20 year old Morel.
At least Beliesma has used a normal chamber so they're already off to a good start 😉

Like the Isirs, I’ve been using separate bass bins for a decade now. I think there a so many benefits; both from a designers and consumers point of view.
In the design below there is another W (not pictured) as part of the speaker design.
So a stereo setup consists of 2 x WMTM + W + W.
All woofers are the same; and crossover at 120Hz; as per LFE standard.
Place the extra 2 woofers about the room; for smoother in room bass response.

They look awesome -were the cabinets done by you or the guy who does Osborne loudspeakers Aranmar Acoustics ? The sad fact is I have never heard a John Kreskovsky speaker design - he certainly used top drivers.

No I built it. That’s why it took forever. My only regret is not having completed it earlier to showcase John’s fantastic design…
