Building a prototype

Further improved schematic - added JFET source follower at the input, some other stuff... waiting for a PCB to come from the factory (couple of days)...
Some elements are shown in the wrong cases in 3D view - never mind, this is just to give an overall idea.

Cheers,
Valery

-" Life is too short to waste time with people who drain your joy out of you. If someone wants you in their life, they'll make room for you. You should not have to fight for a place. Never, ever insist on appearing before someone who underestimates its value. And remember, your true friends are not the people who are on your side when you're living your best days, but those that remain even in the worst moments."

This I like. I live like this.

If it is according post 16 ,output triples with voltage gain, closed in global feedback loop, it will be very prone to local instability. Very tricky to get it stable, very dependant on transistors used, on PCB parasitics. Simulation do not show this

I know 🙂 Had some problems with CFP OPS in a wide-bandwidth design recently... However, this one is less cranky than CFP, so... we'll see 😉

One thing that Uncle Charlie has noticed and which I agree, this forum has too many people trying to peddle their wares / recycled designs. I guess the entrepreneurial spirit is a good thing but I understand his purpose here, he wants to challenge, to put the focus back on the hobby and to see something new. I'm afraid that isn't likely to happen very often but when it does it's fun - like the design in this thread, or look at Elvee for some good stuff (e.g. circlophone).

Dear Gareth , personally, I have posted many new circuits and the use of new components. Just look on my profile and read the threads that I have started or participated in which I presented completely new ideas .

I never copied others, and even other people have copied my ideas, often creating lower-products and in spite of that they have had more followers, perhaps because being more known on the forum they have had major credit.

Just you go and check the dates of the publications to confirm what I say.

These people used to copy others, they rarely have presented really new ideas for the first time, so you always see the usual 3 or 4 basic schematic around here

That said , I want to make one more attempt :

Next Monday I will present two new output stages and my challenge is: how many of you will be tempted to use them in new projects ?

You do not expect that other clever guys of turn outlets as their ideas.

When you see these new stages , I think they will be bread for your minds . 😎

Maybe I'm exaggerating , but I try to move something new.

Best regards, Francesco

Sounds very interesting !

Actually, I think I am one of the people who only have copied ideas from other people. I am sorry, but that is my limitation! Still, I do always make some changes, to try some improvements or just to see what happens if I do it a little different. I don't think I could make anything somebody would buy ! - maybe I'm just envious 😀

But if you have really good idea, ask yourself if you should keep it for yourself, perhaps to sell it.

For me, I don't want to make money from my hobby, it takes the pleasure out of it for me to do so, restricts what I can do etc. And changes how I talk with others. It's funny how humans always look for recognition within their 'community'.

I look forward to some Italian bread for my mind 🙂

p.s. Italy is one of my favourite places. I have been to Amalfi coast, Rome, Pisa, the Alps, Venice, Bari, Tuscany etc. - so rich in all the things for the soul.
