Speaking of which, I'm subscribed to both this and the other thread, but not getting any email updates. Some other threads too, but haven't been documenting them; mostly just been going to the Loudspeaker and looking at the latest new posts after going through the updates I do get.

Hi, that's what i did. I needed a new hobby, and thought "how about building some loudspeakers?" I had an idea what they should look like, but i had no money, no tools and no room where i could work.
So i built my speakers with just an electric drill, a soldering iron and a lot of work with my hands.
I wrote about my first speakers in a german forum and i will link this here. IT's in german, but the google translator should be able to help you understand my story.
