My sample of the Viborg plug base arrived. We will be using the same clear acrylic base and solid copper plug blades for SnubWay. These Viborgs are very nicely made indeed.

Fits nicely on an outlet strip along other plugs. Doesn’t hog up more than 1 spot.

Looks like rotating the triangular body by 30 degrees, would create even more spacing to neighbors.

My prototype is defending away on the strip that powers the DAC and Class D amp plus and Amazon Dot. Silent and inconspicuous.

I have a Venom Defender from Shunyata Research. My house shares the transformer with my neighbor and the power is very noisy, especially during the day. The Defender helped a lot.
I have had my barn restored with its own power so it is less helpful out there.

The CNC milled SnubWay case samples have been manufactured and are on their way to me. Photos from the factory.

Tooling for the new plug base is currently being made. The base will use an improved square shaped ground pin that is more stable. Changing some text on the body label and ground pin screw is now green to follow usual norms for ground connection.

Dang, I wish I could do this but have too many projects going on, adding 320 sq ft of raised bed gardens being the current priority, going to have to buy many cubic yards of organic garden soil....at least I can get it in bulk.

Production of the SnubWay Wankel inspired case is moving along nicely. All CNC’d and anodized.

The caps still need to be laser engraved.
