It does seem to remain intermittent, but it has been identified and raised. It should only be a matter of time.
This issue has been being actively investigated over the last hour and investigations continue. Has been a tricky issue to narrow down. Various services and servers are being restarted resulting in some total dropouts over the last hour. Will post news as it comes, here.
Issue has been escalated to Linode our infrastructure provider who are indicating it may be due to an issue with their Dallas datacenter.
Now 9:3PM here on the east coast, and indeed DIY is sluggish... been that way since yesterday.
Several seconds to load a page, and watching the 'scroll bar' moving..... waiting.

Wow, this problems seems to get worse day by day. Already much worse than yesterday for me. Each new page takes about 30 seconds to load now. Makes the site essentially useless.
9:29 AM Tuesday now, here on the east coast..
Substantially slower than yesterday...
I can polish off having a cigarette while waiting for a page to load.
Someone please go and check the server boards for those cheap china capacitors bulging.

Just dropping in here to report that I am experiencing "normal" speed page loads at this time from my home in Michigan. Nice! 👍

Are you fellas also having problems with notifications? I’ve got a double whammy going on, very slow and absolutely no notifications for my watched threads?
Still slow here, the site loaded a bit faster, but still about 5 seconds. Loading pages is slow. Posting seems to take about 6 seconds, better but still very slow.
