How does one add their names to the circuit board list? It keeps being posted with no updates. So, my best bet is to have them made by some fly by night company? Thanks Ray
Kypton-ND boards are tested and ready for production. I've only listened to them long enough to know they work, not enough to form an opinion yet.

OK,
Thanks for your patience. jwilhelm sent me the updated and tested layout for the kypton-nd input stage. I sent this on to the board house for review/cost.
I am going to order the KND input the spooky input as well as some more of the 5 pair output boards.
I feel that it would be stepping on toes to offer a power supply board...the DIY Audio store sells a power supply board....We should support them.
Pricing should stay the same. I'll be sure when the board house gets back to me.

I think I have a couple of OS's designed power supply if anyone wants one. Gerbers are available too.
I felt it was somehow unfair to offer a product that the DIY Audio store sells being we are selling through their forum.

The audio store sells an amp too. I don't think it's an issue. There wasn't much interest in supply boards though.
JW,
The question for me is what is the optimum power supply design, not who makes it cheaper or if the store sells a stock universal design. I assume that if the boards for OS's designs got to big a thing it will have to move to the vendor's thread. Let's not compromise his designs with the wrong power supply specs is all I'm thinking.

Supply design is like cap selection. Everyone seems to have their own idea what is best. I've talked with OS about what he feels is needed for a supply. He felt strongly that his Slewmasters shouldn't use a CRC filter(like the audio store unit) in the supply. The PSSR is good enough in these amps and the cap multiplier is more than adequate to filter the supplies for the input stage. I tend to agree with his thinking on this. Larger reservoir caps often come in 22mm 4 or 5 pin snap cap leads which aren't supported by the supplies in the Audio store too.
JW,
thanks as I was thinking of the CRC type of power supply before you mentioned Pete's preferences. Just goes to show we should give deference to Pete's concepts to get the best bang for the buck.

I could certainly ask for pricing on the power supply boards. The shipping will already be happening and this seems to be a big part of the cost.
Jeff, do you have the files for this board?

JW,
didn't those power supply designs include the provision to add a protection circuit to the amp? I know you guys were working on doing that.

Maybe I'm a little late here but can we still get PCBs for the V3.0 version of the output stage? I would grab 2 PCBs, maybe 4
Thanks

The supply boards with the protection circuits were something I did for my sub amplifiers. Os and I started working on a putting the protection on small boards that would replace the fuse holders instead. That's still in the works.
OK....the board manufacturer says 6 working days to delivery.
OPS boards will stay at $15.00 each
IPS boards will be $12.00 each
jwilhelm has 6 of the power supply boards he is willing to have me send out. This looks to be enough.
Shipping will be what I have to pay the post office. Last group buy USA shipping was $6.00. Other countries varied but was about $16.00 per package.
I will contact all interested members in the next couple days to verify orders and collect addresses that I need.
Thanks again to all,
Evan
