This is an option for two types of parts, SO08 or DIL08 opamps and TO126 or TO220 transistors. I normally try to have more than one alternative especially when it comes to essential parts like semiconductors.... so only one type at the time 🙂

one PCB for four different packaging options opens up the marketability of the product.
 
HDD can't be fixed..all info gone. I have not started anything yet but recently when I pop up my Naim power amp, I saw they are using LM317 regulating 24V for the pre amp..now it makes my imagination wild again..to maybe try putting this into it to replace the LM317..
