Does that imply that one should use a bit lower raw DC in also. I think I was somewhere around 48,5
You got big sinks so more Vin-Vout is tolerated and brings less internal Q1X capacitance so its OK.
It was misplaced Q3. Needed to be in q3x spot with y position open. Rails are around 34V now.

You are a lucky man, Buzzford!
You are still married and use your wife's dinning room table for assembling of your projects!
I am now divorced over such assembling practices. 🙂

Nice. Hope your doing well. I have to keep it in shape to clear if needed. Don't poke the bear. Well I did, but different kind😀

Marriage?🙄
Well done Buzz!
Wow! That's a lot of phono stage! How do they sound?
As I couldn't afford to do what you've done, would it be possible to make a single shunt reg (per channel) and just have a switch for MM/MC to swap power between two boards?

Theoretically I would have thought so.Either that or possibly two power supply sockets one wired to MM and the other to MC boards and just plug from one to the other socket depending on cartridge in use.
Regarding the sound I like these phonstages a lot.I am not very good and translating sound into words but they just sound so right imho.
Once again a big thank you to Salas for letting we diyers build his designs and not forgetting Teabag for the excellently organised group buys

Using Z-Foil trimmers for variable cart loading...
Are there such?
I think I see two there fixed on mini vertical boards. They could be wirewound as well. Fixed resistors are better still, just costlier in total, not so free to set and require a plan. I think JC had done that in the past too.
