I see that in general that cheaper toroids are half the price of cheaper Rcores. As far as I can tell for the same or similar specification.

My comment to a friend as we left:
"if they have so little responsibility to civilisation as we know it, then they should all be put down"
If that film portrays the real attitudes and behaviours of our young adults, then no wonder the "world" is going down the tubes.
These irresponsible attitudes (I am all that matters) have led to where we are now !

They are 2SK117-BL, not the 2SK117-GR you specify.
I am sure I already know the answer to this...but anyway...can I use any of them at all ?
I only ordered 10 as 'a test', will need eventualy 4 regs. I think ( for my friend as well ).

A friend had weird problems with BL in SSLV1.1 once. Proceed with caution. If yours is gonna work stable on scope, use them.
MM and folded simplistic are difficult to go well, it would take too high a VDS with possible gate leakage problems, pronounced on MM higher Rsource. But take comfort, the SNR with DL110 and HiMC gain scheme in classic simplistic is naturally competitive to folded for MC if not better.

Yes.. the folded simplistic is really impressive.... now easily surpasses even the bjt build even in the bass. Much more organic 🙂
I had the opportunity to listen to it with about 0.8mV cart like yours yesterday. Only bit more pricey. Goldfinger Statement. There it really comes to full.
