What phono are you using, same mine 63dBs, if yes following Salas advice I bypassed with a 10nF VISHAY-RODERSTEIN MKP-1837 Metalized Polypropylene Film Capacitor in parallel to C10 4.700uF HQ 10V, incredible perfomance in highs, now I'm other new member in the list "can't live without them" 🙂

Due to the fact that I need gain never tried without the cap, but seems without cap it's only less gain for medium MC carts.

correct, Salas mentioned that more than 4 transistors in parallel will oscillate and my idea was bypassing the resistor - R2 - with a cap, i.e. 220uF.
Maybe it sounds better with less gain, but you can correct that in the second stage...

Because in the moment of building only had severals LSK389 & Salas choose these value tor (I suppose) get the gain asked for me.
Possible next Simplistic will be only with SK170 I have on hand a batch of 100 pieces matcheds but the gain will be 60dBs I have the schematic posted by Salas.
