Buzz, check item 261150895343 on ebay. Those 0.047uF FT-2 teflon caps are quite compact (31 mm long, 20 mm dia) compared to the usual ones.
"Silver plated steel leads."
Steel is usually a bad thing to conduct audio.
You may want to open them up and repackage them with epoxied ends and better wire leads.
There is a a thread about doing something like this somewhere around here.
Supposed to help and reduce the size.
I have a few of the larger ones and will eventually take one apart.

yes, I like full range... these index can even output high frequencies like if they had a tweeter.... Very goodCiao Ricardo , more info on PHY-HP ? you like fullrange ?
Are you sure that aren't the coax models ?? at 10k drop like a stone, no fullrange, never see ones without is dedicate tw.

No coax.
This one; h30lb15sag
very directional... can play really loud... subtle detailed highs... loads of slam and good low end also.... Indeed special. The open bafles are uge.

Did not know about the steel ends... Anyway they sound splendid."Silver plated steel leads."

looking forward to your cirurgical experiments.
Yes.... And heavy gauge silver plating.... It even oxidates so bad I always need to polish the ends before soldering.... anyway, the results are splendid
I have not been keeping up, Is the above a folded? 63db us getting close enough for me - but I would really like 75db. You know, because I can't let go of the sound of the DCB1 in my system. Oh - the choices.
Are you sure Felipe that a step up or an MC stage before the RIAA won't saturate it? I'm not.
Dual 170BL is 65dB, if I remember correctly. 63B is for 369 version
No, dual K170BL is ~60dB, single K369BL is ~57.5dB. Dual K369BL could go 63dB if redesigning especially for LMC. To reach ~75dB I would choose single 369BL driven by 20dB SUT. Don't know about input overload there though. Could couple to an on board amplifying stage than to the output buffer stage is better I think.
Could I use 2SK246BL in place of BF245A?
Better use K117GR.

Merlin's example is 63dB and is industry standard gain for LMC.
Better use K117GR.
Thanks Salas, wich Idss: low, medium or high?
