I have seen a map of this, can't quite remember where, perhaps in the review done in audioXpress. It was a single op-amp with eq in the feedback.

NE5532 NE5534 Audio applications

this legendary OPamp in audio circuits.
Remember that today there are a number of OPamps
which outperform NE553x, more or less.
But for a low price construction they are still useful.
I imagine, that they also are quite easy to find, all over the world.
