Don't ...
All your explanations are very theoretical...
You are mistaking the course due to your uncontrollable desire to show your knowledge, which on the other hand, is nothing new
don't ...
wow, that's just simply rude.
No i don't think so.
He probably had a bad day and he is probably someone who need to do things to not be bored (even if they are useless).
And as English is not our native language it may be an issue in translation. 😀
I confess to like theorical things or can give the image to display my knowledge. That is why i was hired as a teacher...

So the solution is to decrease box volume. Just add a bag of sand inside the cab. Start with 1/2 litre and increase til satisfactory. 🙂
Not maybe...IS! Some people just don't think they need any help because, well, they already know better.it may be an issue in translation. 😀

It is not known if Mark Twain actually wrote this, but I agree with that assessment, so my ignore list has new members.

Here is a link that will take you to several videos, I think they will be useful about how to treat the room, how to build a simple and beautiful bass trap, etc.
Good Luck ! 😉

Hey guys ... Thanks a lot for all the comments. And the discussion went in different directions and it was fun too !!
All the questions and answers on this forum will be seen by many people who want to learn over the years.
And in audio we always have to deal with compromises.
Let me rephrase the actual question.
Let's assume the following situation.
1. Assume the speakers have front ports. (And don't want to close ports and reduce bass)
2. Placement is on front wall. And at left and right corners.
3. Moving speakers away from walls, absolutely not possible.
In this compromising placement conditions what steps can be done to the room treatment to make the bass clean and accurate.
