Shui Yuan Audio TPA3255 Modification Thread

With this card , I would start changing the 6 capacitors ( in red ) with 4,7 uF Wima:s.
Some of them can be soldered below the card if the new ones don’t fit.

I would use a 34-36V power supply for lowest distortion with 3255, and this would avoid any stress on the xl7015 regulator.

Op amps could be opa1612, opa1642, lm4562 - all of those will sound better than ne5532 , at least to my ears.

Hi, one of my Shui Yuang TPA3255 amp boards stopped working over the weekend. I found the XL7015 to be the culprit. It seems these are not readily available in the UK. I had a look round for listed equivalents and drew a blank. I came across this regulator on RS Lm2592hvs and note quite a few similarities in the typical application schematics. Would it be a non starter? Or could they be made to work on the TPA boards ?

Ok, I managed to get hold of original XL7015, board is back fully operational again.
I was thinking of upgrading the output inductor on the board, possibly with two separate inductors, instead of the duals fitted now. These one seems to fulfil the requirements and are pretty well priced -Würth 7443631000.
I have managed to find a way to physically fit them, but would like to check if there's anything I should be wary of in terms of proximity, orientation, etc?
