One more. I probably missed the discussion, why Allo now uses uUSB on the Revolution DAC. There were discussions about uUSB being the potentially better choice for power connections over USB-C in the past. (I guess that discussion became obsolete with the intro of USB-C PD anyhow ) Since we now talk about a pure data port for the Revolution - Allo confirmed that there's no USB power needed some posts ago -I'd consider a modern higher bandwidth USB-C (USB 3.1xx) port the better data-port. I'm just thinking out loud.I'm sure Allo had their reasons to go uUSB!?!? I mean, the measurements confirm that Allo can't be that wrong about the choice.

My issue. I meanwhile pretty much banned all USB cabling. And I'd prefer not to work with adapters.
Q: Is that Allo USB cable also available as USB-C version?

Hi, I got a USBridge Signature that arrived a week ago and is fried (not starting at all - no lights). Allo has no stock in Europe so they will not be able to exchange it for a few weeks.

Is it possible it is the RPI CM 3+ Lite module that is fried? I was toying with the idea of getting one from Amazon and test.

I have the last days problems with my revolution dac.
The gives no sound... I see everything good in roon and no problems.
It started from two weeks... I must unplug the power plug... Than it gives sound.
Now it comes everyday or on the two days...i have first try new start roon rock and than usb bridge signature, only push play no sound and everything I see is recognized... Only no sound.
Unplug the power from the revolution and than it plays...
I don't how I fix this 🙁
The first week no problem it comes now more and more...

🙁 the same it plays and no more sound... It falls away.
I start new the Usbridge Signature.... No sound... Start roon rock no sound.Only power from the evolution dac than it comes back.Tomorrow I try a second new install and than I stop.I go back to my hegel with only the Usbridge Signature usb.

Otherwise I go crazy with this every day It is strange the first two /three weeks no problem....

That sounds very much like a hardware failure. Decades ago I bought a Quad 34 preamp. It played like a dream for 2-3 weeks then the chip switching the inputs went crazy. Report to Allo. BR, Per

I go send a message to allo. Now I have try everything... it comes more and more.. Now two times a day it stopped. The first two weeks it played as a dream 24 hours a day 🙂 It started with one time about ..than one week good... than two days now I go crazy 🙁I go only try switch my Shanti now ....
Than I go stop with this 🙂
