Service light blinking inside amp

Well i would have to save up and aquire stuff over time, but i see you on here walking everyone through repair, so i trust if you say i need something that it would prove useful.
I believe in learning how to do things rather than paying someone else to do it. Ive managed to fix a number of things with the equipment i have but i know honestly the first thing i should get is a better multimeter i have the $3 harbor frieght special right now

I don't think anything n the less-than $200 range would be considered good. The best you can likely get is acceptable.

I strongly dislike the LCD displays and if you could find a CRT based scope in good working order in your price range, that (in my opinion) would be the best choice. Very few will go that route.

Do you have a computer on your work bench?

Budget for the scope.
