It's a hobby, I enjoy playing with Kicad (also LTSpice), so it's all fun for me. It's also great exercise for the brain.
And the cost was only CAN $4.65 (about US $3.60) for each channel (5 PCBs each) with slow shipping.
And it's not like I need another amplifier. I have more than enough amplifiers, so it's all about enjoying the DIY. It's fun, educational, and entertaining. 🙂

The left channel and up and running. It took quite a bit longer than anticipated because my work got sloppy, so I had to deal with a few bad solder joints and flux that I did not clean off. I spent quite a few hours figuring it out. I usually examine the solder joints closely and clean off the flux with alcohol but I didn't this time. However it is all good now and I am enjoying the amplifier.
The sound is quite similar to my Tokin follower amplifiers. I suppose that is to be expected as the distortion levels are similar. In my system, combined with the DIY2022 FE, it is a sound that I enjoy. This will be my new summer amplifier.
The distortion measured similar to the right channel. The left channel's maximum power output was slightly less than that of the right channel.

nice!
regarding flux - call me lazy and ham-can - I never clean that after soldering, except helper flux for smd work
though, xperience - I did clean flux when I did some work on Quad FM3, eons ago

This is the first time that I experience an issue with flux. I had run out of trouble shooting ideas so I flooded the PCB with alcohol and it worked.
I am still a pcb newbie so many of the settings in Kicad have been left at default values but in the future, I will probably increase the clearance of 0.1mm in flood zones to 0.2mm or more. That will help prevent flux and solder issues.
