They also have 4 and 8 ohm versions. I just wanted to know how they sounded since zaph gave it a better value rating than the B&C's despite the B&C being about $50 cheaper. Means the 430's must really have impressed him.

I think the better rating (especially useability wise) is due to one being
a bass/mid whilst the other is a mid only effectively. Zaph is no big fan
of 3-ways, thinking 2 or 2.5 ways are inherently better value.

yeah, we have to realize Zaph's measurements are great but his comments are based on some of his own preferences.
If the B&C is being used with a bass bin then its an incredible value!
