After re-reading the thread: I understand now that you are indeed doing some sort of new design, but putting it in the vintage yamaha chassis? Is that right? That's just strange, man. And what is perplexing is that you are willing to spend all this time (and money, I suppose) on it, but aren't going all the way with a product designer for the look. Is that right? And for some reason, you have all the audio electronics sorted, but not the power supply? I know everyone has been beating you over the head with this, but they're right: you need to prototype something and then test. You're trying to write a cookbook without knowing how a stove works. I really don't mean any offense, but right now you seem like a forum-lurker who happens to have enough money and time to get into trouble.
You wanna make a cool audio doodad. We get that. We're here because we also like audio doodads. But you are not asking a small thing. And the fact you don't see that is why I'm gonna make another cup of coffee and retire from this thread. Final thought: there are some people here that are telling you things which will save you a lot of time and money. *hint hint

I know everyone has been beating you over the head with this, but they're right: you need to prototype something and then test. Correct and this includes a basic power supply to build from. I don't believe testing of these PCB's with six different bench power supplies is going to tell me much
You're trying to write a cookbook without knowing how a stove works. I really don't mean any offense, but right now you seem like a forum-lurker who happens to have enough money and time to get into trouble. I am most serious about this project, I am not lurking.

I most sincerely wish to take in ALL that is said and do appreciate.

Maybe it's time the moderators closed this thread, as Want to be doesn't seem to have a major portion of his ducks in a row. I won't waste my time on any questions from him.
Is it possible to have a technical method conversation?
As you are, apparently, completely unwilling to answer any simple and specific technical questions put forth by people who were attempting to help you - and just posting schematics or other images taken from wherever is not an answer - I would say that, no, you are unable to have a technical method conversation.
Please close out this thread, as this whole roaring and screaming match seems to be going nowhere in a hurry.
