Hello,
nice work! Is there a special reason for attaching g3 to the anode instead of the cathode?
Best Regards
Michael

Don't know...I am I suppose a "cut and paste" builder..I "cut and pasted" that part of the schematic from the Randall amplifier by John Atwood. Is there a special reason for attaching g3 to the anode instead of the cathode?
How does it sound? And are those the little 10$ critters from Triodeelectronics? (I have around 5 of those 🙂)well my se el34 is finally working
sounds great but i find im going to need to order some chokes.
theres a little hum when it warms up with the volume up or down.
the case was from a solidstate amplifier. this is the first time using it with the lid on and it get way to hot no suprize being se.
i may hit the hardware store and make a deck for it and transfer the parts over. save the case for a preamp 🙁
i didnt make it exactly like the Schematic but close. when i get a chance i would like to make my own Schematic to share.
very low parts count.
