I do recall messing around with guitar feedback intentionally - it's been awhile. I probably shut the amp down immediately after overheating the resistor and just didn't realize the motor-boating problem it created until several weeks later. If you don't mind, could you email the schematic to eweege@yahoo.com? Thx.

mishmashru said:I got it! Thanks to oleg solo. Now I know that reverb pot is B5K, however I need to know a part number to order it. I can not find it anywhere on the net. Can anyboody help me? Where to get Marshall pots???
Can you just use a pot of the same type that will fit? Why does it need to be from Marshall?
Well I geuss I'll be the next to chime in. I to would like a copy of the schematic to the Marshall avt20. At least the problem this unit is having differs from the cap/resistor. The trouble is it shuts down after about 10 mins of hard playing. So off I go to track and hunt land.
Many Thanks in Advance,
Jack
