.... I do not want a 3 way 🙂
In this case we speak about 2,5 way, and about three loudspeaker.
CNO is 2,5 , Zaph the same, and Reference too...... remain CNO or Zaph revelator tower....
have you looked at these?

I saw this site and many kit are interesting.
I saw:
Visaton Atlantis
Visaton Solitude
VisatonSimphonie**
Feel IT
Eton2U**
EDEN
Spring
Menhir
Goldrausch
E-motion**
but or for bad look or bad sensibility or ribbon tweeter or low prices, or unknow speaker at the end I rejected all
Signed the most interesting for me.
Unfortunately because some of these have a interesting price (CNO 2.5 is the most expensive)
I wrote yesterday troels and in short time he replied me with illuminate advice: CNO 2.5

LIke I said earlier...Troels seemed the way to go. I would love to do his DQWTL design...but expensive.
and i saw the troels project too :
CA18RNX
very similar to CNO 2.5 for dimension and sensibility but with speaker 4 times much cheaper!!!!
I was going to recommend the poor mans Strad (PMS) however the shape and size of the thing might be totally unacceptable.
I then remembered these which would seem a lot more suitable.

Here is an index of all the design notes, there are two designs included there. That is to say, two different xovers, one has 86.5dB sensitivity, the other has 88. I would imagine the latter simply has less baffle step compensation, which could be advantageous depending on where you want to place them.
mmmm I saw the cost without wood work
DTQWT about 1100 € jantzen kit + 400 € eminence total 1500 €
TQWT about 900 € jantzen kit
and these are interesting, particularly TQWT...
Now I am very confused !!
The CNO is about 1450 € without wood work
Obviously the dimension are very different and wood cost the same...

I understand your pain! I have been in the same boat for 2 weeks trying to figure out what speakers to build. I have had so much help from Mark, Dave, Scott, and a few other kind folks...that I really want to go the Mark audio way to show my appreciation. I STILL CANT MAKE UP MY MIND!

TQWT is not good ? bass freak ?
save money for better amp,the tqwt open the door for a SET amp with Dht ....

Well...I'm going to bite the big one and do the DTQWT.😀
Jantzen emailed me with an approximation of delivery ready in a few weeks. Their coil winder is out of commission and will be repaired in 1-2 weeks. I will sell a few things to come up with the money...so I will probably place the order in a couple of weeks. In the mean time, I'm going to start the cabinet construction. I'm still going to do a Mark Audio build...just have not decided yet on which. I will of course, post plenty of construction photos for everyone to check out. I'm debating whether I will use MDF or a good quality plywood. Unfortunately, Baltic Birch is not available here...and ordering it is too darn expensive. I'm going to go all out and try to produce a ridiculously good cabinet.
If anyone has any suggestion...please do not hesitate to leave some. I will make a new thread when ready of course.

I think that I'll built DTQWT or TQWT.
At the same price of CNO25 I can build the DTQWT, for that reason....
The cabinet seems difficult, and build it without screw increase difficulties...🙂

Cool. You just have to take your time.
Miami...I have been pondering over the DTQWT plans. Looks to me that we would need 2 sheets of 3/4 MDF to complete the build. One sheet will be perfect for the 4 side panels...and the rest out of the 2nd sheet. I dont know about you...but I have always found it difficult to get internal braces cut just right so they make perfect contact with both surfaces. Looks like getting the internal brace dimensions might be a bit tricky. Whats your take?
You are right, these are the difficulties.
If you are a perfect carpenter with equipment all is easy.... (look Illpo)
I think that screws (and glue) are necessary for a solid result of the cabinet, in consideration of particular cut of the surfaces.
At the end I'll refine with "liquid tar" for seal the cracks.
In Italy "liquid tar" is "catramina or "antirombo" ... 🙂
