Oh yes, keep going, you will fix it !! Great News is, that you have two different speeds. Is there nothing Happens if you turn the resistors on the Motorboard? Are the resistors correct?
VR33 = 4.7 k
VR45 = 10 k
VR33 = 4.7 k
VR45 = 10 k
Thanks Tim! Yes, the resistors are of the correct value. When I turn the 33 rpm resistor, I am getting 60 - 70 rpm, the 45 rpm resistor 70-80 rpm.
What i can see is, the soldering of the adjustable resistor Looks Not so nice as it should 😉.
Hello all ,
Is there any updates on this ?
I’m facing the same problem and suspect is the switch .
Do you have a part number of the switch,I can’t make it from the fotos.
Thank you in advance !

I used an old microswitch out of the 70th . Best way is you search for microswitch in the Internet. You will find a lot of different Manufakturs.
Choice one with the same specs as the old on.
As a quick search I found this one
https://amzn.eu/d/7s23TaU
Should work, but expensive.
Please compare the dimensions , before you order . The mounting holes are standardisiert for each housing size.

Thank you @timmsel , I found a lot too and this one from mouser looks like it will do the trick. I haven’t check the specs as I don’t have the original switch datasheet and that’s why I’m asking here if anyone has replaced it and which one they used …just to be sure,as you say are not cheep …..

I ll wait still a bit more before ordering,maybe someone chime in,that has made the replacement and provide a part number …..
The original switch specs are:
125V / 5A and 250V / 3A
so a switch with 250V / 5A is better and fits the spec.
Could you provide a pic of your Switch?

Exactly and this is how I started narrowing down my search, although and if I don’t take out the switch or someone provide a drop in then we need to know the configuration… is it ON(OFF)/ON ….or ….. ?
