Looking for saa7000 sheet. SAA7000 datasheet,datasheets manu Page:2==CD??????==[PHILIPS] pdf datenblatt - - WWW.ICPDF.COM
I doubt that is so simple..

I've done a few vehicles in 1540. There is nothing complicated there. if you know where I2S is the first to put the receiver and submit it with this I2S is the work of two hours 🙂

My friend wants to do something strange. He wants to replace the TDA1541 chip of an old Marantz DAC with two TDA1540D-s.
Have any of you tried this? What's the technical way of replacement?

This guy did buid a converter for SPDIF-out on the SAA7010 in a CD-104. As far as I remember, the same chipsets as in
the Philips CD-100/CD303 // Marantz CD-73/ Marantz CD-63 Toploader
DJ9KW's SPDIF Interface fpr SAA7000 / SAA 7010 / SAA 7020 / SAA7030 Philips Chipsets

Demultiplex the I2S stream into left and right streams and convert the stream format from two's complement to offset binary. There is a schematic from around 2004 but the threads below offer something more complete.
TDA1541 I2S to PCM - Reference "Budget" DAC
Building the ultimate NOS DAC using TDA1541A
On the logic chips 74 series I developed:
1) Simultaneous(LE, BCK, RD, LD) to S/PDIF out converter, see the attached photo
2) I2S to Simultaneous converter for connecting two TDA1540 to any I2S source
I can offer:
1) Micro-Cap schematic with signal simulation for both PCBs
2) Diptrace project with PCB layout for both PCBs

I visited your homepage thinking I could order your "chip", the one that makes it possible to get SPdif out from my CD104 player. There seem to be no "purchase" button for this mod?
Are you selling this stuff, or just teasing us "not so clever" listeners out here?
Thanks in advance, and happy cristmas days to come.
Regards Steen
Time was when this stuff was rare as hens teeth. Nowadays, whether by CPLD, FPGA or microcontroller somebody somewhere has put details of a SPDIF tx or rx out there for all to use. You just have to go looking for it.
If I'm not mistaken, the eBay offers for the attached images that are no longer available were also from this seller. This guy did buid a converter for SPDIF-out on the SAA7010 in a CD-104. As far as I remember, the same chipsets as in

Unfortunately, these are no longer available even from other sellers.
What alternatives are there (for users who cannot program it themselves and want a plug and play solution)?
Many thanks for any advice .
P.S.: are there a schematic diagram from the unit in post #90 (this seems to be a solution only with TTL/CMOS stuff without programmable MCU) ?

Hi , it's a board designed by soundtraces

Won't do you much good. No I2S in a CD104. It is all simultaneous data. Which is why the TDA1541A is an easy fit.P.S.: are there a schematic diagram from the unit in post #90 (this seems to be a solution only with TTL/CMOS stuff without programmable MCU) ?
I ask there via email and receive this reply:
You can order these modules directly with me through email. They cost 69 euros plus shipping.
If you send me your shipping address, I can make an invoice for it.
Best regards, Jeroen Fortanier
Thank you very much for that advice.
