2.83-V SPL = 87,01 dB
and now i'm examining them in bassbox pro
a 34 litres ported design goes down to 26 Hz linear 🙂
but i want the t-line design! how would it sound?
does the driver Fs drops when two drivers are loaded compound?
or do you recommend stereo t-line subwoofers?

I used this type of speaker many time ago.
I found the best response into 55l sealed enclosure . Very good and linear sound. But unfortunately the SPL is very poor , no more 85 - 86 dB.
If you have a source to buy more speaker you can make an array line with 4 pieces per sealed cabinets ( 150 l ).

The Q & Vas of this driver make it suitable for an alpha TL. There is a lot of room to play with the tuning frequency, but one alignment that looked good to me was a Tl with constant 400 cm^2 cross-section and 195 cm long. Since the driver has to sit at the closed end you would have to fold it to make it practical. Stuff with 371 g of polyester wool.

hi ksl, i'm from romania (just next to russia) and i can tell you not to expect great performance from those speakers but beeing russian they will take heavy punishment (overloading, clipping and so on) whithout blinking so even if the spl is low you can push them very far(or at least as far as your amp will go) whithout fear of serious damage.

planet10, i'm getting some free PVC tubes from a building area🙂
then some 9in diameter would be fine, but if i'm getting a 12in, how would then the length change?
and how's with isobaric design?
so i have something like this in mind

http://t-linespeakers.org/projects/nick/previous.html
OT:yo raindog, know the romania, we're pushing those russian elements to the peak here

sorry ksl i'm very tired and i haven't noticed your location. by the way i love russian electronics, i own 2 scopes and a signal generator made in the late ussr( all built like t-34r's lol) which served me well for some years now and probably do so for many years to come.

With 12" ID it would be 49.5" long stuffed with 1.04 pounds of fiberglass insulation or
With polyester the tuning frequency gets kinda high, but would be a 45.7" long pipe with 0.83 pounds of polyester fluff.
Mount the driver on the end of the pipe.
