Hi there, I am currentlly ripping apart a Rogers A100 class B 55 watt per channel amplifier to use it's power amp sections as monoblocks. I will be using a seperate power supply for each that should help boost the wattage and it's ability. It uses some form of current dumping so runs nice and cool when quiet.
I was wondering if anyone had any information on the Rogers A100, about it's designs etc.

Dividing Amplifers
What a great project. . .I've though about doing something
similar to a Rotel amplifier. Mount each half on the back of each
loudspeaker. . . someday.

I have lost one of the knobs for my Rodgers A100 and wondered if you are breaking the amp if I could buy one from you?

Hi,
Is it ClassAB?
Do you have a circuit/schematic?
Do you intend fitting bigger heatsinks?
does not equate.ClassA .... &.... runs nice and cool

I've just picked up 2 of these A100 amps, both with wrecked power amp sections.
Does anyone have a copy of a schematic/circuit diagram?
Cheers

rogers a100 amp in working order
I have one of the above in working order that is surplus to requirements also the installation and operation instructions that include single channel schematic and technical spec.

Don't think so... sold a while back and think all stuff went with it but if i come across it i'll post
Just about the only integrated i'm aware of that uses the amp's back panel as a heatsink.
2 Motorola TO3 output devices per channel, about 5 watts in Class A would be more truthfull.
The heatsync is the two black bits in middle and they have vents below and above them 😉
