Bastian, these are NUVOTEM / Talema encapsulated transformers.
Best regards - Rudi
Nice, i like them 🙂
And how beefy should i buy them? What are your recommendations?
Best regards, Basti
Hi Rudi,
please count me in for one 4x34VAC transformer.
I like the idea of having an additional shield winding ... maybe instead of offering 10% off when we reach 10 orders you could just add that. But I am also willing to pay the 3€ extra 😉

Bastian, I use two 2 x 25 VAC / 225W transformers.
This is Mihai's recommendation as well.

If I order more than 10 transformers, I will be able to offer you 10% price reduction 🙂.

I believe Evette wanted two of them

Can Badel do these ones as well. With the right qty, it could save some money but them the shipping weight could be a restriction to many...

I like that idea, but i can't judge weather this makes sense or not

Edit: Ok, i've checked the postage for 5 and 10 kg and i doubt it. At least for outside europe.

Yes, Bastian: shipping the transformers outside of EUROPE will be very costly.
That is why I will not offer "the big transformers".
But the 4 x 34 VAC / 50W is a small one and weighs less than 1 kg.
Find attached the current order list for the "shunt-transformer".

@Wendell C: the shunt is not based on SALAS' shunts; Mihai developped it by his own.
Please refer to AndrewT.'s post #212. I will send you a PM.
I will wait until Monday, 1st of October, and order the "shunt transformers" then. Please do not PAYPAL me, until I give you the final prices.
Find attached the current order.

Hi Rudi,
I wish to join to this GB: add one 4x34VAC PSU for me, if possible.
...also if possible to ship it together my letter to save some shipment costs...
Thanks
Fabrizio

"The Postman Always Rings Twice" ...
... and he gave me:
- 50 MKP1839 / 1µF ordered from FARNELL
- 160 x NJL0281DG and 160 x NJL0302DG ordered from MOUSER
- 6 x NJW0281G and 6 x NJW0302G (MJ777: "For Your Eyes Only")
I have already prepared your envelopes and will distribute the parts among your letters according to your order.
I will start measuring / matching the NJLs tomorrow!
And I have another very good news:
BADEL will offer me the shunt-transformers as 4x34VAC / 20W (!) version.
20W is even more than needed (remember: 21.5 mA are needed per frontend-rail of the FC-100) and weighs less
(no additional shipping cost in most cases; I will simply put the transformers into your letters) and costs less!
Best regards - Rudi_Ratlos
P.S.: Fabrizio: you are welcome.

This is really nice Sir Rudi, all the parts are coming in one by one, what do you mean by those "for your eyes only transistors"? Are those for sale Sir?
