I have a rockford T40001BD that keeps blowing the 2 banks of audio outputs. I have rebuilt the driver circuits, have a nice carrier wave on u303. have all the square wave drive signals on the fets.

Perry I put the scope on the HC74 and signal does not seem to be flip flopping which could explain the rail voltage not sharing. I changed the HC74 and it did not change.

Remove the rectifiers to protect the outputs while troubleshooting.

Does the hc74 have input into its clock pin?

The signals likely are inverted. Use both channels and view both images at the same time.

both of the 5110 smt for pin 8 (shutdown/bd mute) have 5.377 vdc on them. does this mean the amp is muted? can I pull both pin 8's from the pad?

the rail voltage is not switching. I was thinking the toggle a and b were not functioning correctly

Since the drive has to pass through a transformer, I don't think it's in the drive circuit before the transformers.

Post a photo of the two drive signals for the rail switcher FETs. Use both scope channels.

guess I can understand why the banks are not switching if it has drive signal unless I missing missing something that is preventing normal fuction

most of these amps I dont have a drive signal but this one does
