It was working fine. Now it's just burning these resistors the moment voltage is applied to the remote curcuit? Something is short? Maybe a regulator. Or a soder bridge somewhere in the power supply drive curcuit.

If you're still referring to R40 and R26, are the capacitors in series with those resistors shorted or far out of tolerance?

What does the waveform on the secondary look like with and without those resistors?

There is no drive on the power supply mosfets now. There's is only low voltage on the regulators. Even with b+

From left to right. Replaced the 22r resistors they didn't burn again after I removed the 594 from the no drive at the chip. Something happened to the 594. Anyway I just replaced it and drive is back. No b+ remote and ground only

Any of the circled terminals. With no drive to the FETs/transformer, they're essentially all the same.

Connect B+ and ground. Connect a jumper from the ground terminal to any of the terminals of the transformer in the yellow 'circle'.

If you solder the jumper in place and twist/push/pull on the transformer, do you see a change in the current draw?

No change in current it seems fine. The ic shorted, I believe the power supply remote wire hit a speaker terminal. Whatever reason the ic was not producing any drive. Replaced it and the amplifier had drive so then with a small fuse in line 5amp tested the b+. Amplifier powered up and the 22R resistors did not burn..

It looked like B+ was passing through the rectifiers. A shorted transformer is generally what would cause that.

I do have that resistor somewhere perry the large wirewwound ohmite 2R 100watt. That should work for the test. How should I wire it in?

This one. It was two wire connected to each end right now. I been looking for it, I just didn't know where it was buried.

Series. So it's slowing the elctrons down. Ok I have it wired in and connected with the resistor only it draws about 6.5amps, if I then jump the ground over to the secondary winding. The current doesnt rise that I notice on the supply meter.
