Do you have detailed specs specifically for the recording and playback sections? I can't find a manual or spec sheet online, and your link only shows the SNR.
I don't have this card but something from a web review:
Specifications
Playback
- 24-bit Digital-to-Analog conversion of digital sources in 24-bit with sampling rate of up to 96 kHz without audio monitoring.
- 24-bit Analog-to-Digital conversion of analog sources in 24-bit with sampling rates up to 96 kHz without audio monitoring.
- Signal-to-Noise Ratio Front Channel Out/Headphone: 114 dB (20kHz Low-pass filter, A-Weighted)
- THX TruStudio Pro
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi HD Review - Introduction
The ESI maya22 usb doesn't look that bad at first sight for a cheaper option. Only 24/96 however and very little specs published. It's very hard to find actual measurements for that one.
PS: got the juli@ today. Very nice card and the software is quite good for once.

Would you mind running a quick loopback multitest (THD, SNR, freq. response, etc.) on the Juli@?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Going for extremes...
Here it is for 24/192:
Frequency response (from 40 Hz to 15 kHz), dB: +0.05, -0.05
Noise level, dB (A): -106.6
Dynamic range, dB (A) : 106.6
THD, %: 0.0007
THD + Noise, dB (A): -98.1
IMD + Noise, %: 0.0017
Stereo crosstalk, dB: -101.9
IMD at 10 kHz, %: 0.0017
And for 16/44.1:
Frequency response (from 40 Hz to 15 kHz), dB:+0.06, -0.04
Noise level, dB (A): -95.9
Dynamic range, dB (A) :95.9
THD, %: 0.0006
THD + Noise, dB (A):-89.7
IMD + Noise, %: 0.0045
Stereo crosstalk, dB: -96.1
IMD at 10 kHz, %: 0.0047
PS: btw, my ugly DAC is just as good (or better, no way to know) as the juli@ at 16/44 (can't do better since it uses a pcm2707).

The ADC on the Juli@ is better than its DAC. Its easy to use the Juli@ as a digital I/O with an external ADC and DAC. Its TOSLINK out will work up to 192K which is also unusual. The Coax in and out are transformer isolated with what seem to be very good transformers.
The RME Babyface or its clone, the Alva Nanoface...?
Its a downsized BF... currently without any specifications 🙄
BF with good symmetric performance... but asymmetric hmmm..
Look at my gallery for some measurements.
