Replacing 10” Peerless XLS 830502

We bought a new house and it came with a home theater that’s been pretty abused. I’ve gotten around to rewiring and replacing everything but the 10” old peerless driver which just blew. I can’t find the specs for this particular model.
I like it for what it has and want to replace with a similar or slightly better unit. Can’t be more than 5.5” deep. I need to reuse the box in the wall.
What do you guys recommend? 100-500 bux range.

I didn't notice the coil was 4 ohms, which is where the increased sensitivity comes from along with slightly lower mms. Far as I know there's nothing out there that's a drop-in replacement.

You can get close with a SW26DBAC-4 woofer. I can't tell more without running some sims but that should get you in the ballpark. It ideally needs a little more volume (target is 40L sealed), but won't complain too much.

You will lose a ton of sensitivity though, so be warned. There's no subs made with 93dB sensitivity so you'll need to trim the mains accordingly.

Check this out: Scan-Speak 830772 10" Paper Cone Subwoofer 8 Ohm

It is advertised as a Scan-Speak driver but it is actually a Peerless 830772.

Interesting. It has 8 ohm. I also found this one SDF-250F75PR01 which has 6 ohm. So these alternatives mean that I’ll get slightly less output, but it can handle the wattage I probably have going to it.

I also found the XLS-P830452.

Which one would you go with?
