considering they are usually in same price bracket , choose 3504 ....... always look at full secondary voltage , then quadruple it , at least
In that case wouldn’t a 3510 be better ? They are almost the same price - is there a downside to getting one with higher voltage rating ? ( presume 3504 is 400V and 3510 is 1000 volt )
Any brands to consider ?
Thanks for the advice! Would be good to know signs of a bridge failure ? ( resistance ? Leakage current ?) lower voltage output ?
better optimal voltage than highest ones ,simply thinking about increased capacitances in diodes , when increasing their working voltage
brand - just buy any of type , at reputable vendor/store
usually it's either good or bad
if you have popping fuses - diode is shorted
if you have buzzing xformer , maybe even buzzing from speaker , diode is not conducting
so - all you need is diode test on DMM and maybe to disconnect one or two wires from bridge while measuring , to be sure
