Hey Makk...thanks a LOT for that feedback. Looks like the last on yer list might be just what I'm looking for. I'll look deeper into it. Sure appreciate it. ciao bob
Hey you very helpful techie folks...I have a new mystery for ya. I just noticed last night that the sound, when run thru my stereo system (even tho running it that way leaves me with no volume control due to old stereo equipment) is a mili second late with whats being shown on the TV screen...??? This leaves me wondering whether there is an equitable way to get the proper sound even with a volume control device in equipment sequence. Any thoughts on that? thanks...bob
If this is your cable box then it is just like every other one in the hook-ups. Make sure everything is connected properly as there's no way in h*** it doesn't have an active volume control. That just doesn't compute.

Yes, I have that with one set-up but because of the amplifier use I want it that way. It is close enough to another that I don't use the delayed one's volume, just the picture. It's really eerie with them both on though, a really haunting echo occurs.
