Hello
Please tell me...the best dealer to buy a TDA1541a
Best Bjarne
reliable dealers I don't know really
safest bet is buying an old tda1541a based cd-player
it might take you some time and patience, but in the 20-30 eur price range you can find sth, for 40-50 eur you don't need to be patient 🙂
here's a list of cd-players with that chip
Overview of Philips TDA1541 based cdplayers and D/A converters
Hello

Hi Bjarne,
If you are not going to buy whole Cd player, please PM me, I have few different TDA1541 and TDA1541A as spares.
Some of TDA1541 were removed from players (as Marantz CD 94 and Philips CD960), some TDA1541A are new - I can check ones on my operational CD player to be sure those are OK.
Best regards
Saulius

decoupling caps... According to the spreadsheet BOM
Wima MKS02; 0.22µF 63V
Wima MKS02; 1µF 50V
these 16 caps can be replaced with ;
Cornell Dubilier 1µF/16V FCA 1210 caps- Mouser Part No.: 598-FCA1210C105M-G2
I only see 14 smt caps on the front of the board.
What don't I see?

Two of the 1uF are in the onboard I/V stage 😉
I've got my tube output stage built (final oscons arrived today).
I guess adding the filter would help this tube stage as well.

Mouser cart
I've got all the mouser parts (I can find on mouser) in this cart...
https://ca.mouser.com/ProjectManager/ProjectDetail.aspx?AccessID=e5f3e3e479
You guys are more than welcome to copy it... I haven't double checked it yet - but have removed parts from the original BOM (not needed with the latest mods).
Anyone have complete red baron build? I'd like to see them. I don't see how I can fit all these circuit boards into one enclosure.

Only one left!
I guess the buffer on board isn't necessary if your using a tube output stage.
You have to choose the onboard I/V or an external e.g. Tube-I-zator, yes!

757-2SK170BLF <- this is obsolete. What can I use in it's place?
JFET N-Ch SM Sig FET -50V NF 0.5dB -1.0nA -30V (757-2SK208-GRTE85LF) <- this ok?
Thanks.
