On my back are 8 Speaker's ( 2 channel ) that are about 1800 W into 8 OHM . As i thinked about an amp to drive them .. i didn't find one afforable , so .. i but the most power kit i can find ... if the trafo will not work .. i will wind a new one and go on ... but i need a trafo calculator or something like this ...

I ordered the kit's for only 2 spaker's ( the horn onces ) back , big with that wite shet on corners
For the rest i have amps , i don't want a amp for the whole sistem , i use that in a home teather configuration .

How are they rated?? Wattage and impedence...just for kicks can we have the frequency response as well???

it's almost impossible to get 350 W from 40 V rails...unless you are talking about dual 40VAC rails...which when rectified would give you approx 59V rails...that would give you enoguh headroom for a 300W or more amp...a schematic here...

I would imagine that you could bridge 2 amps to give you 300W...but you must be careful here...as each amp will see 4Ohms as the load if your subwoofer was originally 8Ohms...and do make sure you do NOT ground any side of the woofer...which would definetly destroy the amps if you did so...I would suggest that you do a bit of reading and research and getting aqquainted to amps and build a few lower power ones before you step right in and build such a big one...300W is a tad too much for home use..I would imagine this is for some outdoor activity???

Going to 800W would mean you need to have a really deep pocket which even I cannot afford...due to the expensive trafos needed...and not to mention the frequent headaches you will experience when u on the amp...wonder if you have cracks on your walls already...800W is just too much for a 5 by 5 room...unless your speakers are really ineffiecient...like 1db per watt...800W will give you 800Db...which is KILLING...I dunno about a 800W schematic anywhere...unless you bridge two 300 watters together...which would give you 600W...even 300W is the max power I have seen in concerts outdoors...okok...maybe those during national day are bigger...but why would you need them in your room...if you are not gonna use the full potential of the amp you might as well not build it...that's my opinion anyway...and take care of your ears ok??Anyways...here's a link for an amp that goes 360W...but you really need a lot of cash to get all the MOSFETs...

I think you have enough... I am personally not willing to help you anymore.. its just silly... I have some rather crappy speaker boxes... 91dB 1w/1m 90watts rms... I run them off a 50watt amp, and am able to get all the furniture in my room vibrating... its a 3m X 3m room however... anyway.. I'm working on a 75watt per channel @ 4 ohm, 8 channel amp next... lol in theory it should bridge to give 300watts into 2 channels, into an 8 ohms speaker... 🙂
