Hi X,

I am in the process of building a new chassis for my FX9HV and parts. I seemed to have lost my lo-cap psu's that I was using with the RTRSSR DC protection boards. Please have a look at the attached image of a helper board and one of the DC protection boards from 2019.

Can I mate them together and use 1 fully populated helper board with 2 DC protection boards?.

Thanks,
MM

Thanks jhofland for the quick reply. One more quick question if I may:

I am using a dual mono setup with All Cee's psu, referring to the schematic in post 943, if I am using 2 wires from the transformer secondaries to the small psu, do I connect those 2 wires to pins 1 & 3 on the AC input (J2) of the small psu, and then run a wire from ground on the All Cee's to the pin 2 (com on J2) on the AC input of the small psu. I would then leave D1 and D2 unpopulated.

Hopefully I got this correct?
Thanks for the help,
MM

Hi Myles,
If you are powering the little helper board with secondaries from your amp trafo, only use two diode D3 and D4. Connect COM to your PSU GND if using same internal trafo secondaries. I know this is tricky and if not done right can blow the diodes. Check output to make sure it is correct and working before connecting to SSR board. Observe polarity - check with DMM.

Hi X, 1 more question / help about the little helper board: Can it be supplied from the 2 pin Molex on the FH9HVX amp board ?. If possible, how would the wiring of the helper board change ?. Looking at the schematic, I do not think this is possible, but thought I would ask.
Thanks,
MM
