Hi,
I would recommend the 6N2P-EZV as a substitute (not pin to pin compatible) as it is the USSR version of Telefunken's famous ECC808.
(check the datasheet and look at the noise figures for LF application!)
While I am at it, JB from Tubecad recently put up his version of the RCA circuit which is (to my mind) what it should be like.
If there's any interest we could turn it into a dedicated phono pre (MM mostly) with a volume control inserted after the last half of the 12AX7A/6N1P-EV supplemented by a dedicated WCF buffer and a very precise all tubed voltage regulator.
Cheers, 😉

rca phono building
I'm also building this preamp and I'm very curious about how it will sound.
I am still confident because the rca electric scheme seems to me to be adopted by many manufacturers even if with small changes to the values of the components.
