I have one pair in need and it took days of searching to find this seller. My only wish is to obtain another pair. Now, I can do so on eBay or something and it won't matter if the surrounds are shot or not.
Happy re-foaming guys!🙂

I have some Koss MTM d'appolito-style speakers with foam-rot. I'll have to search hard to find something that will work.

There used to be a store in Maryland, The Speaker Factory. They have no storefront any more, but as a company they may still exist.
AND DONE!

Finally got a chance to listen to them yesterday. I'm no AUDIOPHILE but I can say they sound much more ALIVE. Very happy with the results of the re-foam.

I have the new Minimus 77 surrounds and glue on my bench... What method did you use to make sure the voice coils were centered?
As I took the advise from another user on this forum(can't remember the name...sry)...I glued the outer first making sure the surround was as centered as I could make it(I used a digital caliper set to ensure it was very close on the outside. Using tiny clamps, glue the surround and wait 24hrs. Then the cone. I didn't use shims to keep it centered. I just let gravity hold it where it naturally sit. Then, carefully glue the surround to the cone (making small adjustments before the glue cured) with a small brush. Then wait some more. After all said and done...it was time to test. Voice coil didn't rub!!! I was in business. Tested at higher volume and it worked perfectly. Now, they sit on my shelf, sounding great once more. Hope it all turns out well for you!
