Finally got a few minutes to measure the transformers and they are all fine. So failure was just grounding sending the bias out of control.

As a laugh whilst at it decided to measure the cathode bias resistors. matched on each side to a point where I don't trust my cheapy DVM, but certainly better than 0.5%.
