Question about replacing the surround foam

that I cant push it down only move it up,
do you suggest to replace it surround foam
The only issue that I not like to do is remove the dome/cap or try to balance it on gluing.

That driver looks like it has cone damage as well. A full recone might be the best way to go.

What is the condition of the rear suspension (the corrugated spider)?

Perhaps the voice coil has separated from the spider causing it and the cone to sink towards the back plate of the magnet assembly.

The problem with the cone excursion is understood.

It is more likely to be a rear suspension fault than a front suspension fault.

Inspect the rear suspension. Is the corrugated spider still attached to the voice coil former as shown in the attachment?

in your video it's unclear as to whether your using two hands to move the cone outward, pushing from one side will cause the voice coil to rub, does that happen when a normal signal is applied?
