Why not try this:
It is based on the phono preamp made by Thorsten Loesh and the original could be found at his homepage.
It sounds pretty good...

oops i should elaborate, i need schematics..
soem feedback one ones you have tried out would be cool too.

If you want a basic circuit, you have lot's of them. I have made a couple of Excel files for calcuclating the RIAA network. Drop me a note if you or somebody else want those.

With risk for :wchair: a will only mention in :shhh: that I have got pcb's for a modest RIAA amp..... The amp is based on http://www.linear.com/prod/datasheet.html?datasheet=202

Alaskan built phono preamp

Perhaps I can suggest one of my RIAA phono pre-amps. Its a great unit and is quite easy to build. Very low noise and offers adjustable RIAA equalization to optimize any cartrige. Each circuit board is for one channel.

and another here:

Some more info here:

This preamp is also suitable for use in recording studios and can drive balanced 600 ohm lines. The NAB reproduce amplifier version has been used to replace stock reproduce amplifiers for the purpose of remastering old analog tapes to digital format.

I have not had enough free time to update my web site so some information is somewhat out of date.

Pcb's looks very nice. Compare the link of Coph Nia MC amp when we talk about appearance.

Interesting "star" concept of the layout.
