Junior,
Nice work. Are those original drivers?
Regards,
Matt
I brought it second hand.
According to the seller is original as he brought it from PE.
Now I am getting the mid bass that I had been missing all this while 🙂
yes used 2 pairs of 8" Peerless 830586
It depends on what you call subwoofer. If you only run it up to 50 Hz sreten is right, but when it runs up to 100 Hz chris661 is right.
Mounting woofers on opposing walls spaces them apart by let's say 0,5 m. For reasonable cancellation the spacing should be within 1/4 of the wavelength of the frequency to be cancelled.
Cancellation of harmonic distortion works for even order distortion. For a frequency of 50 Hz, wavelength is 6,9 m. The second and fourth harmonic have wavelengths of 3,4 and 1,7 m. So these harmonics are cancelled. But for a frequency of 100 Hz the fourth harmonic has a wavelength of 0,9 m, so it will not be cancelled anymore.
