Hi Babo 🙂
Thats funny, yesterday we had some friends here and my dude Ambula (okinawa) was so kind to propose these delicatesses...
Mebbe you can decipher Menu ... was very good despite lack of meat ...
Soy sauce is not a problem for me ...
I just double the snort beta blocker in such an occasion.

Isn't it all about the digestive? 😀

Re: this good ?
heh. it didn't quote the attachment... anyways, so one thermistor per Shunty? I found some of these at surplus store:
Epcos B57235S0100M000
10 ohm, 3A max. I think these should work?

Hi guys,
i am having troubles to make run the shunt PSU.
I am following the schematic of the shunty and I happen to have the BDX54/53C as well...so good on this side.
The problem i am experiencing is the following:
i have the 5V reference connected to both base of the differential stage Q4/5 and no voltage divider at the moment just to test if all the current is eaten by the shunt device.
I read 0.45 across R7 (the 4.7ohm resistor on the first CCS) 1.2V across R12 on the differential stage (i guess i need 1.3V to completely open the transistor).
i mean......is it correct to suppose that Q11 should be completely opened and therefore the CCs should source its full current when the base of the transistors on the differential amp Q4/5 are clipped to the same voltage (5V) (with no voltage divider)
i am also seeing so far a thermal stability issue that causes VR7 to fload quite of a bit.
If i put my hand on the transistors i see less floating....but i guess that if i stick the two transistors one by another this issue will reduce.
If there is anything not clear please tell me and i will try to clear it out as much as i can.
thank you guys for your patience and kindness.

I wouldn't expect much moving from you , with both legs tied to chair .
what you're trying to achieve ? expecting that someone tells you that sun is bright ........or not?
I can't give you reason why things are working , all I can is to describe HOW they are working .
and I already does exactly that .
42 ?

Hey, my question was serious...and i don't appreciate your sarcasm.
Just so you know....your reply didn't look great nor so professional.
I made the shunt run...and not with your help of course...and there are analytic reasons of why there is a balance between the front end and the shunt.....but it doesn't matter i guess.
I personally think that my question fits more the topic of this 3d than the other posts on wine ans sausage and stuff and thus deserve somehow some kind of attention...but whatever.
From my view point it would have been really to include on your cookbook an analytical explanation on how things are working in terms of equations.
Then show physical results with noise performance as well.
This would have been very professional indeed.
But i haven't seen nether one of them so far.
This is just my view point....
don't take it personally and nor get offended over it.
Best,

well ...... I will not take it personally and I'll not get offended over it .
but I presume that someone else can answer you these questions , if I can't .

Best,
I am taking it very personally and I have to tell You that this post from Your side was not nice at all. Nobody is obliged to explain - it's just a good will. And You seems to have a never ending questions.
By said that... try now not to take it personally and nor get offended over it.

...there we go agaiiinnn....a....ooohh yeeeaahhh
we should turn this from amplifier-Nelson Pass forum....into....something...somehow....more.....more culinar.....something that hits more the spot of your kitchen stove.......
first thing: lets start changing cookbooks into recipes book...........just a coupe of chances and the transformation will be over................
woila'!!!

Stefano, have You really, I mean really went through those:

As You can notice there is more than 2400 posts before You appeared here...so, friendly suggestion - start reading from the beginning

i mean.....friendly......but still friendly....
1) the cookbook uses the same words. Frankly that is more a description of the circuit...something like reading a yellow book...other than that not a circuit analysis.
2) if i honestly have to go through 4 days of torture reading a couple of post in the middle of another 100 pointless posts about wine...beer.....meat....and so on....well....you understand that is not so practice...and i would think that cooperation means something else than answer that way.
instead of waisting your energy arguing or trying to find sarcastic words (sometimes not even in a correct english!)...i mean...with what purpose though?...you are better off doing something positive and help others out.
I was having a problem with the debugging of the circuit...and my questions where precise and did fit the thread.
3) third point is sad indeed but it's clear how people are more interested on chatting and arguing rather than electronic and stuff.
Be aware, i am not saying all the users....of course...there are certain highly regarded users like: ConradHoffman, Peter Daniel, EVUL,Cheff...and others....which I have never seen them take part to such trivial things.
There are now more post on this arguments than post/reply on my simple question.
Just to end this point.....a quickie example on what i mean for joining a community then everybody can take his own decision on how to act:
few days ago there was a new user asking for a simple question on Aleph P that was answered multiple times.
I had two choices:
1- acting like someone here and be a breathe by giving answers like: go and search on your own.....or...what do you expect people telling you everything? do first your homework and read the 3500000 posts around the forum;
2- be nice take some time and answer him.
well...i mean..as somebody said correct: answer is not an obligation.....but......i would add....questions are of course permitted...answers are purely courtesy.......
that's a general rule of thumb...you can take it or ignore it.....
but if questions are permitted and answers are courtesy.....then.....sarcastic answers are definitely not allowed on a well educated community.
well just my two cents.
