To me, the downside of the DS1802 seems the 0.5dB accuracy between the 2 channels, using them both for a stepped quad-channel PLDR attenuator looks a bit of a waste.
(forum did not allow to post the piccy, the white stuff is dry rice to keep them healthy, bought a pound of the stuff)

Maybe the accuracy can be trimmed if the deviation between channels is somewhat constant.
With Le Grand Papou you can even expect him having devised a routine for automated tracking/selection, with an entry-level integrated product sales figure you're likely talking a +10K order for the DS1802.
Trouble i have with the DS1802 is the still lacking experience data.
(the summer stuff is about $150/lbs, but it requires >5 times as much as Italian whites for comparable flavor intensity. Adding a dash of high quality white truffle essence helps, i buy that stuff wholesale. The price level of fresh white gold has become insane. I've been sticking my nose in the fridge all week to suck the smell in my nostrils, addictive goodies, but healthier than the usual magic mushrooms people overhere inhale)

I'm sure Papa will grind the pepper mill to spice our lives sooner or later, but the DS1802 gadget is current production IP, and i'm sure he's gotten used to the Gimme-Gimme crowd. (he better be)

My stuff still has that 'drek' digital XO so no big news there. There is nothing real special going on - except for the fact that I switched to a PC running FLAC built inside an old Nak tape deck (cause the upper bass has such impact, my cd player was skipping - true.....and it isn't broke). I gotta get a decent dac cause the Sony ES digital pre/pro that I'm running spdif into stinks.
If I can find my stuff under the kid's toys I'll send a piccy.

now I'm confused which 😛umpkin: thread to post in... anyways... about R25 (4K32) .. it's the only resistor that doesn't come in a pretty shade of red. 3K9 and 4K7 are alternatives. Me thinks 4K7 will work, but I wanted to ask the cook 🙂
