Background : We currently use oak clad Orion 3.4 speakers in our church. They look and sound(ed) great! Unfortunately after 6+ years of use two tweeters have popped due to a operator error. They are pricey to replace.
So in memory of our lost friends I picked up

The Beyma will be in a ~50L non square box, possibly with a custom aperiodic vent of around ~130cm2 so should yield a close to flat response to ~ 90hz with a few db EQ in the 70-120 region.

I am contemplating the same HF146/XT1464 combo... It's finding a woofer that is now the challenging part. That said, this thread should prove quite interesting.
My plan was to use DSP on account of the depth of the XT1464 and figuring that any passive solution to aligning the drivers would be complex and/or costly. Do you use DSP in the church? I found a used Driverack 260 that has really helped me step up my game over analog/passive XO options.
I suppose you're using a sub below the Beyma? What made you choose your driver/alignment over say a sealed cabinet? It's understandable there are many approaches to take, just curious your motivation/reasoning behind that choice are. Not questioning them ... Trying to learn something

The HF1440 was just released...
Some while ago I picked up two MX-350THX subs. They're hidden away out of sight and rattle the stained glass quite well. Not sure they'll keep up with the spl of the Beyma though. I can always add two 15" drivers on the side walls if needed. I also have the subs from the Orions...
We're upgrading the mixing desk to either a Yamaha TF3 or A&H SQ-5. I might be be able to steal some DSP processing there without the need of a separate box. Need to investigate that.
I used the boundary and diffraction sim v1.2 to set the woofer position on the baffle and machined in 20mm rads all round too.

Picked up a 2015 EV DC One today. Looks promising. I’ll take a look inside tomorrow.
LineSource had a great plan of opposing 18” 18FH500 drivers in the sides in a 6 to 9 cuft box requiring only ~18W for 20Hz @ 100db. sealed box with some EQ. I may consider dual opposing 15FH500 in the same vein.

I spent some time looking at humblehomemadehifi in particular the Calpamos and the newer Mezzo Calpamos. My reasoning to go it my own way was that I didn’t want another box. I have machines at work I can put to wood cutting use! LineSource is my motivator regarding TPL/12p80nd/18fh500. I’m going for a bespoke horn for the room, eventually.

Looking for 80x60 coverage. I like building my own things so I’m giving it go. I see no reason to have the same horns as others when I can spec a BEM proven shape myself. However, the SEOS18 for 1.4” also looks interesting!
