Yes it asks the owner to have at least something to measure the capacitance.
I refurbished several loudspeaker with Alcap lythic...they Do drift and not at the same time when in serie and when //.
If Falcon shop has two 80uF in stock then not too much risky for the wallet. 33 + 47 = 80, those are often within 3% in real life : https://www.banzaimusic.com/Bipolar-Capacitors/
Drawing a shematic is easy just need to look the two side of the pcb and where go the wires...a 8 yo child can make it 🙂
Do not spend monney on mcap from mundorf or new binding post...wasted monney.

Do you refer to Mundorf caps?Yes it asks the owner to have at least something to measure the capacitance
Ah the mundorf lythic...that is ok, they are the same than FT in the link above but less precise in the capacitance (more 10% than the marked 5%). If UK based, check Falcon Acoustics for Elcap brand. I was giving CE based shop just in case the op was on the continent cause postal from UK can be costly.

Just take a photo of the other side of the crossover board, and mark all the connections (+ - in, + - out for woofer and tweeter). We can draw it for you.I started the thread asking if anyone had the schematic, just because I can't find it and I am unable to draw it.

Falcon Acoustic doesn't have the resistors or the other things I need (they only have ceramic resistors with 5% tolerance ...), and they don't accept orders under £ 15 exc. shipping ..... and it's the only place where I found Alcaps. Why not try the Alcaps first
i live in Italy.....unfortunately there are no shops with much choice of products hereI was giving CE based shop just in case the op was on the continent cause postal from UK can be costly
So Banzai music may be a good choice and they have mkps too...but they can be slow to ship...just write a message when ordering saying it is urgent or it mays take more than two weeks or three they wake up when it comes to ship abroad.
I will send both drivers to a specialized laboratory to check them and possibly repair them. In Italy they are among the best in this field. My 2ct: check the drivers. They are way more prone to ageing than the X-over components. And these SEAS woofers, this probably being a P11RCY or alike, have surrounds that don’t last in my experience.
Italy and Denmark stand out in HQ speaker brands, that is for sure. Renewing the drivers certainly is more than an option.
i'd like to restore the speakers with original drivers if it's possibile..Renewing the drivers certainly is more than an option
Is the midwoof not an oem on spec ?
If they touch the spider and swap the suround rubber I would expect more problems...
If just wanting to restore, purchase the 80 uF Alcap at Falcon acoustic and call it a day 😉

There is no space in the crossover's box.i believe the proac engineers have made a choice between cost and performance for this capacitor. these weren't "entry level" speakers after all.Four 20 uf film caps in parallel is 80 uf. No need for horrid electrolytics in the audio chain.
JMLC horn profile ?
Well for the Alcap, the Z of the lythic may be (or not) a part of the design...
